I live in Metro Detroit and work in the automotive industry.
I'm passionate about building things.
I love learning how it's built, and why.
I love to read, write, and swim. In college, I was a synchronized swimmer, and although I don't do a lot of ballet legs anymore, I still spend a lot of time on the water.
I spend my free time traveling, swimming, and exploring my home state of Michigan.
I started this blog as a digital scrapbook to keep track of my projects and adventures with my friends.
My most recent project is working on a complete gut renovation (to the studs!) of a 1950s lake house in southeastern Michigan. You can follow that project here!
